No more Chrome apps for Windows, Mac and Linux

Today approximately 1% of users on Windows, Mac and LINUX actively use Chrome packaged apps and most hosted apps are already implemented as regular web apps.

Beginning with the limiting of newly published apps to users on Chrome OS by the end of the year. To help ease the transition, Google is providing developers tools to help migrate their apps to the Web.
